Here’s a quick recap of today’s games:
El Paso Chihuahuas (27-27) Won 4-3
The El Paso Chihuahuas ended their game with some added flourish, tying the game with a three-run inning in the bottom of the seventh and walking off winners in the bottom of the ninth with a RBI single for Javier Guerra. The Rivercats would jump to a three-run lead thanks to a two-run single by Austin Slater, but a bases-loaded walk, RBI single and a sacrifice fly tied the game. Starter Seth Simmons tossed six innings of one-run ball while striking out five.
