Dale, an Australian native is up to .159 with his average after a 2-for-4 game on Thursday morning. He was hitting in the leadoff position for Melbourne in the ABL.

Mexican winter league
Esteban Quiroz– (0-2) 2 BB
Small infielder Esteban Quiroz went o-for-2 on Thursday and his average at .250 on the season in Mexico.
Puerto Rican winter league
Aldemar Burgos– (1-6) 2 Runs
The right-handed hitting outfielder is hitting .272 on the season in Puerto Rico after a 1-for-6 game at the plate on Thursday.
Dominican winter league
Fernando Tatis Jr. (1-4) K, Error
The Padres No. 1 prospect is currently in the Dominican playoffs where his Estrellas team is 2-2 in the round-robin style tournament. Tatis made a fielding error on Thursday which is his second since the playoffs started.
Franchy Cordero– (0-4) BB, 2 K
Franchy is in a bit of a slump. He went 0-for-4 on Thursday with a walk and two strikeouts. The left-handed hitting outfielder could be in store for a big year in 2019 for the Padres.
