Padres Down on the Farm: May 10 (Chihuahuas lose only game of the day)
A slow day in the system as the San Diego Padres affiliates went 0-1 on the day.

El Paso Chihuahuas (Lost 3-2 to Tacoma Rainiers)

The El Paso Chihuahuas lost the only game of the day for Padres affiliates, 3-2 to the Tacoma Rainiers. Patrick Kivelehan had himself a day at the plate, tallying four hits, including the only two RBIs of the day for El Paso. Two of Kivelhan’s hits were for extra bases, as he hit a double and a home run.

Nick Ramirez started for the Chihuahuas, going 1 2/3 innings and allowing two hits but zero runs. Steven Wilson followed with 2 1/3 innings of one-run ball. James Norwood surrendered the El Paso lead in the eighth inning, and then Aaron Northcraft got the loss in the tenth inning. Chihuahuas’ second baseman Ivan Castillo also impressed at the plate, accumulating three hits on the night. He is hitting .500 early on this season. El Paso will play Tacoma once again Tuesday night. The first pitch will be at 6:05 PT.
