The Chihuahuas’ pitching staff was roughed up in a 13-6 loss on the road in New Mexico. El Paso allowed 13 runs and 14 hits. Paul Fry relieved him and threw 1.2 innings of scoreless ball in the loss. Daniel Camerna coughed up three runs in 1.1 innings of work, and Lake Bachar allowed two runs to score and only managed to record two outs.

The Storm infielder retired all three batters he faced in the bottom of the 9th. An eight-run first inning powered Lake Elsinore to the dominating win. Jose Luis Reyes started the game and went five innings without allowing a run.
Lake Elsinore recorded 19 hits in the game as three different players enjoyed a three-hit night in the minors.
