The Tijuana Xolos will host Pachuca at the Estadio Caliente for a game in the 2024 Apertura season this Friday, October 4.

Club Tijuana is undefeated at home and is coming off a 1-0 win against Mazatlan at the Mictlan last week.

A pair of injuries were suffered in that match for Club Tijuana as it is unclear if Carlos Gonzales or Rafael Fernandez will play in this match. Manager Juan Carlos Osorio was not on the sidelines for that game due to a suspension, but he will be back for this match against Pachuca.

Goalkeeper Antonio Rodriguez put in a massive effort in the clean sheet, but there is always the possibility of Jesus Corona starting in net. Spanish defender Unai Bilbao was another standout from the match, with five interceptions and tackles each in the clash.

Heading into the match, the Border City Dogs are in seventh place with 17 points from 10 games played. 13 of the 17 points earned this season have come at home as the home record has been carrying Xolos heavily this season. This is one of the last four home games left on the year, as it is a golden opportunity to try and pick up more points for the playoff push.

The 15-year-old midfielder Gilberto Mora played the entire game against Mazatlan, and it will be interesting to see if he gets the start against Pachuca.

I'd like this amount to

Pachuca only has one win out of its last eight games played in all competitions, coming off a 4-2 loss to Cruz Azul. Defender Sergio Barreto picked up a red card in that match and will be unavailable to play against Club Tijuana. Andres Micolta is the most likely replacement for Barreto, as the Ecuadorian came on against Cruz Azul after the red card.

Los Tuzos have an extremely talented squad, with Salomon Rondon and Oussama Idrissi leading the attack. However, the defense has conceded 17 goals this season, which is tied for fourth-most in Liga MX.

Another bright spot for Pachuca has been Nelson Deossa, who just received his first-ever call-up to the Colombia national team. Deossa has two goals and an assist this season and commands the midfield for Los Tuzos in all aspects of play.

Club Tijuana are the favorites in this game at home, but Pachuca has enough talent for the possibility of an upset.
