Xolos Femenil 2018 Apertura: Undefeated Pachuca Visit Estadio Caliente For Week 3 Matchup
Game: Xolos Femenil vs Pachuca Femenil
When: Monday, July 30, 2018
Where: Estadio Caliente, Tijuana, Mexico
The Xolos women’s team are off to a fantastic start in the Liga MX Femenil 2018 Apertura season with four out of six possible points so far.
The Club Tijuana ladies tied 1-1 against Veracruz at the Estadio Luis “Pirata” Fuente last week and will now return home for their week 3 matchup against Pachuca.
Andrea Rodebaugh’s team has looked marvelous so far, especially Inglis Hernandez, who has the two goals Xolos Femenil has this season to her name. Goalkeeper Itzel Gonzalez has also been an important player, as well as the new players on the team like Alondra Carmargo.
The border city team is currently second in Group 1 with four points and is in sixth place overall on the league table. The team looks much improved from last season and seems like it will have a huge advantage in home games because of the new synthetic turf.
Pumas UNAM struggled with the new turf in Week 1 against Xolos Femenil and it can play a role again in this game. The Club Tijuana ladies will face a very strong Pachuca side that has won both of its games so far.
Las Tuzas are a very young team, but do have the leadership of captain Lizbeth Angeles and young manager Eva Espejo. The game should be one of the best in the Liga MX Femenil this week with two teams that are off to great starts.
Pachuca does have a great team, but Xolos Femenil is a team that is improving and will also have the home-field advantage. EVT predicts that the Club Tijuana ladies will stay hot and undefeated with a 2-1 win against Las Tuzas at the Estadio Caliente.
