Padres Winter League Report: November 26 (Torrens 4 hits in Venezuela)
It looks as though Franmil Reyes‘ winter league season is over. He is flying back to San Diego to have his knee looked at after reporting some discomfort last week in the D.R.
It was a light day around the globe as the Mexican, Australian and Puerto Rican leagues were all idle on the day.
There were some men that played. Here is your daily recap.
Dominican winter league
Fernando Tatis Jr.– (1-5) SB
The Padres number one prospect is at .278 for the year in the D.R. He stole his 4th base on Monday and is perfectly fine after an injury scare over the weekend.
Jonathan Aro– 1 IP, H, K
The right-handed pitcher is at 2.70 with his ERA for the Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Republic.
Franchy Cordero– (0-4) BB, 3 K
Cordero has been struggling of late and went 0-for-4 on Monday. He is hitting .261 on the year for the Leones.
Diego Goris– (3-4) 2 2B, K
The veteran minor leaguer is hitting .346 after a big game on Monday where he went 3-for-4 with two doubles.

Venezuelan winter league
Luis Torrens– (4-5) 2 RBI, K
The catcher is hitting .440 for the year in Venezuela in his first handful of at-bats. He started at first base and batted third.
Edward Olivares– (0-0)
Olivares has an injury which is limiting him to pinch runner duties. He came in the game late as a runner and played an inning of right field. He is hitting .340 on the year.
