Padres Winter League Report: December 20 (Tatis Doubles in Playoffs)
In the Dominican Republic, the Estrellas Orientales lost game one of their round-robin tournament which makes up the Dominican winter league playoffs. The Estrellas scored two late runs but lost by the score of 3-2 to the Toros del Este.

Australian Baseball League
Kelvin Melean– (0-3) K
Infield prospect Kelvin Melean went 0-for-3 on Thursday morning and is hitting .200 on the year in the ABL.
Justin Lopez– (1-4) 2B, Run, K, Error
Lopez is in Australia as well and went 1-for-4 on Thursday. The infielder committed his fourth error of the season in the game and is hitting .188 on the year.
Dominican winter league
Fernando Tatis Jr.– (1-3) 2B, Run, K, Error
Tatis was batting in the third spot on Thursday. He recorded a double in four at-bats. The shortstop did commit a fielding error. Tatis put up a .866 OPS in 23 games during the regular season for the Estrellas.

Luis Torrens– (1-4) RBI, Run, K
Torres played first base and catcher on Thursday and went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run. He is hitting .309 on the year for the Navegantes del Magallanes.

Esteban Quiroz– (0-3) K
Mexican infielder Esteban Quiroz went hitless on Thursday and is down to .247 on the year in Mexico.
