Michael talks about his freshman year at the University of Georgia and the fact he battled “the yips.” The mental aspect of the game is something he is not shy about exploring as Curry talks about how he persevered past his throwing issues to being a relevant prospect.
The guys talk about the grind of being a minor league, as Curry explains what it is like to make your professional debut for the Padres in Fort Wayne.
Ryan Weathers and Joey Cantillo are discussed as Curry gives us a little bit about each left-handed pitcher who he has befriended. The Padres have so many prospects and it is nice to hear a little bit about them from one of their teammates.
