Padres Down on the Farm: June 27 (Jackson Merrill continues hot streak in Arizona)
Only one of San Diego’s Minor League affiliates took the field today as the ACL Padres defeated the ACL Brewers Gold 7-3.

San Antonio Missions (Off Day) (38-29 on the season)
San Antonio will square off with the Midland Rockhounds on Tuesday.
Fort Wayne TinCaps (Off Day) (27-42 on the season)
The TinCaps will be playing the West Michigan Whitecaps on Tuesday.
Lake Elsinore Storm (Off Day) (42-27 on the season)
The Lake Elsinore Storm will face the Inland Empire 66ers on Tuesday.
DSL Padres (Off Day) (11-7 on the season)
The DSL Padres will be facing the DSL Orioles on Tuesday.
ACL Padres (Won 7-3 against the ACL Brewers Gold) (7-9 on the season)

Victor Acosta: (2-for-3), RBI, R 2B

It only took two pitchers for the Padres to beat the Brewers, but they were assisted by an early onslaught of offense in the first four innings. Ruben Salinas drove in the first run of the game with an RBI double, while Victor Acosta followed with a single to drive him home. A bases-loaded balk in the second inning scored another run, and Jackson Merrill‘s single to right field scored two more runs.
Henry Baez started on the mound for the Padres and pitched four innings while allowing just a single unearned run while striking out four Brewers.
