Padres Down on the Farm: June 25 (Westphal 11 K’s for EP/Gasser 9 K’s for FW/Storm score 15 in route)
The San Diego Padres farm affiliates went 2-2 on Saturday. The ACL and DSL Padres had the day off.

El Paso played a close game with the River Cats but came up short in extra innings 3-2. Lamet came into the game in the 10th inning with a runner on second base but eventually gave up the game-winning single to Sacramento.
San Antonio Missions (Won 4-2 vs. Wichita) (37-29 on the season)

The Missions took a quick lead in Saturday night’s game, scoring in the top of the first inning, and kept that momentum going as they defeated Wichita 4-2 on Saturday. The pitching was stellar for the Missions, including four scoreless innings from the San Antonio bullpen and six combined strikeouts. Offensively, Milone and Rodriguez picked up a pair of hits each and led the offense for the Missions.
Fort Wayne TinCaps (Lost 7-5 to Great Lakes) (27-41 on the season)

Fort Wayne fell behind early, allowing three runs in the first inning and trailing 3-1 after the first. The TinCaps rallied to take a 4-3 lead after a two-run fifth inning but then allowed a pair of runs to Great Lakes in both the sixth and seventh innings, giving the Loons the lead that they would hold on to the remainder of the game, winning 7-5 over Fort Wayne.
Lake Elsinore Storm (Won 15-8 over Rancho Cucamonga) (41-27 on the season)
CF Max Furguson – 1-for-4, 2-run HR, 3 R, BB
LF Justin Farmer – 2-for-4, 2-run HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, BB
RP Alexuan Vega – 3.o IP, H, 0 R, 0 BB
The Storm put a thumping on Rancho Cucamonga by scoring 15 runs, which included two three-run innings, a four-run inning, and a five-run inning. Furguson and Farmer led the way offensively for Lake Elsinore, each collecting a two-run home run and scoring five of the 15 runs combined.
