San Diego Padres affiliates went 0-4 on Sunday.

Here is a recap of the day’s events.

El Paso Chihuahuas (Lost to Oklahoma City 8-6) (44-64 on the season)

Gabe Mosser: 3.2 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 2 BB, 2 K (77 pitches, 45 strikes)

Tirso Ornelas: (1-for-4), 2 R, HR, RBI, BB

Jose Azocar: (2-for-4), R, 2 RBI, BB

Matthew Batten: (1-for-3), 2 R, 2B, RBI, BB

Oklahoma City struck out first on Sunday with a sac fly in the first inning. Two innings later, Kody Hoese homered for the 12th time, making it 2-0. OKC add on three more in the fourth inning including a home run from Alan Trejo, to lead El Paso 5-0. Jackson Wolf replaced Gabe Mosser after the second out.

El Paso climbed back scoring once in the bottom half, then four more runs in the fifth. A sixth inning homer from Tirso Ornelas (17 HR, .924 OPS) made it 8-6, but the comeback fell short. Tommy Nance, Tom Cosgrove and Sean Reynolds all threw scoreless frames out of the bullpen for the Chihuahuas.

San Antonio Missions (Lost 4-2 vs Frisco) (46-54 on the season)

Miguel Cienfuegos: 5.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, BB, 4 K (83 pitches, 49 strikes)

Robbie Tenerowicz: (2-for-3), R, 2B, HR, RBI, HBP

Ray Patrick-Didder: (1-for-3), HBP, SB

Robbie Tenerowicz had a big day, including a solo homer in the fourth inning. The Missions offense was pretty much flat outside of him. Miguel Cienfuegos was stellar pretty much all game. He allowed a double to lead off the sixth, followed by a home run to Keybar Rodriguez to give Frisco the lead.

A bases-loaded walk by Robert Perez Jr. tied the game in the eighth. Frisco retook the lead however with a pair of jacks in the ninth to win it.

Fort Wayne TinCaps (Lost 5-2 vs West Michigan) (40-62 on the season)

Fernando Sanchez: 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 K (47 pitches, 23 strikes)

Joshua Mears: (1-for-4), R, HR, RBI

Romeo Sanabria: (2-for-4), 2 2B, RBI

Anthony Vilar singled to lead off the bottom of the first. Two batters later, Romeo Sanabria hit the first of two doubles, scoring Vilar. On the pitching side, Fernando Sanchez was dealing, striking out four in four scoreless frames. Joshua Mears continues to be red hot, homering in the fifth inning to make it 2-0.

West Michigan got to the TinCaps bullpen though late, scoring five runs in the final three innings. Patrick Lee had a pair of doubles to lead the offense for West Michigan.

I'd like this amount to

Lake Elsinore Storm (Lost to Fresno 6-3) (51-49 on the season)

Joe Musgrove: 3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 2 K (43 pitches, 35 strikes)

Lamar King Jr: (2-for-4), 2 R, 2B

Rosman Verdugo: (1-for-2), 3 BB

A night after homering, Lamar King Jr. doubled to right in the top of the first. A few batters later, Jacob Campbell singled him in. In the top of the third, the Storm had three straight singles to left field from King Jr, Ethan Long and Rosman Verdugo. A groundout from Campbell and an Oswaldo Linares single made it 3-0 Lake Elsinore.

Joe Musgrove made his return to the mound Sunday, making a rehab start in Fresno where he made 11 starts for the Grizzlies as part of the Astros organization in 2016-17. Musgrove was solid the first three innings, touching 96 mph without allowing a run. After getting the first batter out in the fourth, Musgrove allowed a singled to Braylen Wimmer and a triple to Luis Mendez scoring a run. He was replaced by Johan Moreno who immediately allowed a double to Jason Hinchman, making it 3-2. Musgrove was charged with two runs on 43 pitches.

Fresno’s offense added on a pair of runs thanks two more extra base hits. The Grizzlies had five doubles and three triples on the night. Musgrove is expected to make at least one more rehab start before returning to the Padres.
