Amarillo Sod Poodles (69-63) Lost 8-4
MacKenzie Gore made a surprise start for the Sod Poodles and went 1.2 innings, striking out five in the process. The top prospect was more than impressive, as he comfortably sat in the 94-96 MPH range with his fastball, even topping out at 97 MPH. The bullpen was not as solid, as the Drillers offense sprang to life as soon as Gore left the game. Kyle Overstreet and Tyler Benson both went 3-for-4 with an RBI each.
