Down on the Farm: September 7 (Cal Quantrill Pitches El Paso to Victory)
Only one game was finalized on Friday, as El Paso stayed alive in their playoff series with the Fresno Grizzlies.
The San Antonio Missions game was suspended in the bottom of the 11th inning due to inclement weather. The Missions will be up to bat in the 8-8 tie, with a chance to walkoff the game and force another match on Saturday.
If there is another game on Saturday, Nick Margevicius will make the start for the Missions. The left-handed pitcher was promoted from Lake Elsinore for the playoff series.

El Paso Chihuahuas Won 2-0
Cal Quantrill continues to look more confident on the mound as he went six shutout innings on Friday in a Chihuahuas’ victory against the Fresno Grizzlies. The former first round pick struck out seven on the night as he worked fast and was pounding the strike zone.
Allen Craig drove in both runs in the first for El Paso as they never looked back in the game. Colin Rea will be on the mound for El Paso on Saturday as they look to even up the series in California. Games time is 7:05 PM PT
