Edward Olivares got the rally started with a RBI single that scored, then Luis Torrens smacked a two RBI single to score Luis Guzman and Chris Baker. Capping off the rally was Brad Zunica, who got a RBI single to score Olivares for what would be the final Lake Elsinore run. Caleb Boushley was very effective through five innings, not allowing a run and striking out five. While two runs would score off of Ben Sheckler, David Bednar would finish the game to get the save.
