El Paso Chihuahuas (15-7) Won 12-3
El Paso’s bats came alive in this one, as the offense carried them to their eighth straight victory. Dietrich Enns was solid over six innings, giving up three runs on three hits with four strikeouts. The Chihuahuas hit seven home run on the night with Luis Urias and Jacob Scavuzzo both going yard twice. Josh Naylor, Jason Vosler, and Alex Dickerson homered as well. Matthew Batten was the only Chihuahua to go hitless as five players put in multi-hit efforts. El Paso will go for the series sweep Sunday.

Amarillo Sod Poodles (10-13) Lost 6-0
Amarillo got outhit Saturday, totaling just six hits en route to a shutout loss at the hands of Arkansas. Sod Poodles starter T.J. Weir got roughed up, giving up six runs on nine hits over just four innings to take the loss. No Amarillo player tallied more than one hit and they failed to muster up any extra-base hits as a team. Hudson Potts has struggled this season, hitting just .198 through 22 games. Andres Munoz struck out three in one inning pitched and also gave up a hit.

Lake Elsinore Storm (11-12) Lost 6-2
The bats never really got going for the Storm, as they dropped game two of a three-game set with Inland Empire. Robbie Podorsky was the only hitter to rack up a multi-hit effort for Lake Elsinore, going 2-for-3 on the day with a walk. He’s hitting .333 with a .750 OPS thus far in the season. Taylor Kohlwey was the only other player to get on base more than once, going 1-for-3 with a walk. Aaron Leasher took the loss for Lake Elsinore, knocking his record down to 0-3 after six innings of three-run ball. The Storm will take on Inland Empire in the rubber match on Sunday at home.
