San Diego had six players play in the offseason winter leagues.

Here is a quick recap of how they all did:

Australian League

Michael Gettys: 1-5, HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, BB, 2 K

In a game that saw Adelaide score 21 runs on 17 hits, Gettys contributed three of those runs, as well as an RBI. He played right field before shifting over to center field while raising his batting average to .310 on the season.

Jarryd Dale: 1-3, SB

Dale batted leadoff for the Melbourne Aces and played third base and, while he only got one hit on the day, he did swipe a base. He was replaced later on by Jared Cruz at third base. Dale has struggled to a .186 batting average, but he has hit .250 in his last ten games while sporting an OBP of .286

Dominican League

Fernando Tatis Jr: 0-5, R, 3 K, SB, E

It wasn’t the best day for the Padres’ top prospect. He struck out three times and made a throwing error at shortstop, accounting for his sixth error in the offseason. However, he did score a run and stole his fourth base in the win.

Franchy Cordero: 0-4, K

Cordero had an uneventful day at the plate, but he did make an outfield assist while playing left field. He has only been hitting .200 so far in the Dominican League

Mexican League

Esteban Quiroz: 1-3, BB, K

Quiroz didn’t contribute much to the victory over the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, but he did walk and single. However, he is still rocking a .158 batting average so far in the Mexican League.

Venezuelan League

Luis Torrens: 1-4, R

Instead of playing his usual position of catcher, Torrens took over at first base. With a run scored and a hit, Torrens upped his batting average to an incredible .364 while batting in the lower part of the batting order.
