A seven-run ninth inning slingshotted the Missions into the lead and carried them to victory. Kyle Overstreet drove the first run of the rally home with an RBI single that scored Hudson Potts, and the Missions would go on a hitting parade with this spark. Austin Allen, Buddy Reed, Taylor Kohlwey, and Matthew Batten had RBI hits in the inning while Peter Van Gansen drew a walk with the bases loaded for an RBI of his own. Potts put San Antonio on the board in the fifth inning with his second home run in Double-A.
